A Vision for Glendale Community College

GCC has been an anchor in my life and in the lives of thousands of students. I’m running for the Board because I believe GCC can, and should, lead the nation in academic excellence.

I am committed to:

Improving transparency, especially around bond spending and public accountability.
Strengthening transfer and graduation rates to expand student opportunity.
Building national and international partnerships to diversify the student experience.
Expanding investment in career placement programs that connect students with internships, apprenticeships, and jobs directly related to their majors.
Raising pay and support for professors and staff, ensuring GCC attracts and retains strong educators.
Supporting policies that expand healthcare options for adjunct faculty and promote equity between part-time and full-time professors, consistent with collective bargaining agreements and fiscal responsibility.

My goal is simple: to help build a GCC that reflects the best of our community—transparent, innovative, inclusive, and deeply committed to student success.
